ICE TOWERS

This is a small section of the very large strip of Europa.

This page will concentrate on the large circle area just about in the center.

Now I want you to look at it again, but as you do take note that it is a very tall tower.

At least that what it seems to be.

In this picture you have a greater idea of the structure you are seeing.

Notice the giant chunks of ice blocks.

Europa is supposedly covered in ice. Scientists think that it may possibly have an ocean beneath.

In the pictures on the following pages you will be able to see the diversity of Europa.

It almost looks like a freeway with thousands of roads.

We are told these lines are caused by the freezing ice that occurs all over Europa.

On this closer view we can see the ice blocks more clearly.

The side of the Ice Towers seems odd in that it is so smooth looking in appearence.

In this picture we have an even closer view and can see the blocks of ice attached to the rim.

And finally the closest view of the ice and its formation.

It begins to get hard to see in perspective getting so close.

Trying to bring some shapes into view, you end up losing others.
