One of the puzzling passages of the Bible is found in 2 Peter 3: 8, where it says "but, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day".

I personally believe that this passage was specifically meant to be understood and to be relevant to the generation that will see His return, i.e., our generation. We are fast approaching that symbolic year 2000, the completion of the TWO DAYS of the "church" age, after which will be followed by the joyful union of the bride (the universal body of regenerated believers) and her Groom!!!

Why is the year 2000 symbolic? It is symbolic not only because it will be the completion of the two days of the "church age" (the body of believers, which began with the first advent of Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection) but it will be the beginning of the morning of the Third Day.

Jesus Christ expired on a Friday, just around the 9th hour of the day (which was around 3 p.m.). In the Jewish tradition, anything that happened on any part of the day until sundown, was already counted as one day. Ergo, Friday and Saturday (two days). Very early on Sunday morning, when they came to the sepulcher, Jesus was already long gone!! In other words, Jesus rose very very early on the morning of the third day, just as the Bible said He would. This is one of the greatest hints given by God, I believe, that seems to suggest that we, too, (those who are alive in those days, i.e., the End-Time period) will rise on the morning of the third day. HOSEA 6: 2 says "after two days will he revive us; in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight". Just around the year 2000 will begin the morning of the third day!!

I belive that Jesus came right at the Mid-Point of the 4000-year revelatory period of mankind. The revelatory period of mankind began with God revealing His redemption plan to the entire world through Abraham. That was about 2000 year before Jesus. We are just about at the end of the 4000-year relvelatory period of mankind. Jesus first advent took place about 2000 years ago. His Second Coming is just about to take place.

I also believe that about 6000 years ago what is known as contemporary civilization re-started in the Mesopotamia region. Remnants or survivors of the universal flood (Noah's flood) re-started our contemporary civilization. If this is so, the year 2000 will be the completion of the 6000 year Post- Diluvian history of mankind. In other words, the symbolic six days will be fulfilled....and immediately followed by the 7th day....the day of rest.........the millenial period of peace will follow.......(after a brief period of worldwide Tribulation...a time of trouble.....a time of Satanic New World Order system)

What is furthermore interesting is that in 1948 the miraculous re-birth of Israel took place. From 1948 to the year 2000 is exactly 52 years. The number 52 is approximately the number of weeks in a year.

Satan, on the other hand, may also have his own plan for the year 2000. The year 2000 just happens to be the year of triple 666 to infinity. The year 2000 divided by three (Satan also has a Satanic trinity) results exactly in 666.666 to infinity.

Is this a coincidence? Perhaps.

And on top of all of this comes the so-called Y2K "crisis", an artificially "created" and manipulated "crisis" possibly to bring about a triggering effect for a new global governance (a Luciferian New World Order). A coincidence? Perhaps.

The latter part of the year 1999 could be the most crucial period of mankind. It could be a tumultuous year. I suggest that every household be prepared. We must all have at least a few weeks supply of survival items. Start forming a neighborhood preparedness meeting. We cannot be isolationists. Not everyone can afford to go into the countryside. Form a community preparedness group. There is strength in numbers. Start now. Dried food, canned goods, plenty of water. The Bible tells us to be prudent. There is nothing wrong in preparedness. In fact, the Bible does suggest that we must be prepared, not only spiritually but also in practical ways, too. God gave plenty of warning to the people prior to the seven years of famine in Egypt. (We have nothing to lose if Y2K "crisis" doesn't happen....but everything to gain if it does!!) (just like.......we have nothing to lose if Jesus doens't come in our lifetime , but everything to gain if He does!!)

The countdown is starting.

(By the way, the year 1999 is also symbolically very significant because it, too, is integrated with 666. 1999 divided by three results in 666.333 to infinity. .333 to infinity is equivalent to fractional one-third. The Bible suggests that one-third of all angelic entitities in the universe sided with Lucifer in the rebellion. Will this year be the beginning of a large-scaled Satanic influence on this world? Who knows? A coincidence? Perhaps.

The world may call us "paranoid" conspiracy theorists................but we should not be ashamed of it. I would say that the first Christians in the Roman empire were also seen as "paranoid" conspiracy theorists. I don't believe in conspiracy "theories". It is not just a "theory". I believe that there is definitely a conspiracy, period. If one is a Christian, he is already a conspiracy believer. The Bible says that Lucifer conspired against God. Ever since the rebellion of Lucifer, the world has been controlled by Satan. Let's face it. That is the reality, until the glorious coming of the Jesus Christ to establish His millenial kingdom.
