SUN STILLS OF FLARES
Area 8307 is most active as well as 8299.
In this shot you can see clearly the spike to the upper right in 8299.
A pretty dramatic shot of a double spike occuring at the same time.
Amazing still just before the flare. On the film it is hard to see what happens.
The films go rather fast.
These stills are to help you follow a step by step flare as it occures.
It is pretty difficult to do these, but I hope that you find them fascinating to see.

As you can see area 8307 is really heating up.
Just before it is ready to flare. This is a stunning picture.
Notice the 8307 as it begins to create the explosion.
You can also see many smaller flares occuring.
