I find it hard to believe that Viking took these in 1977!

Houston ... We have a problem!

Mars the land of mystery. How many of us feel a kin to Mars?

Why were all the sci-fi movies where spaceships traveled sent to Mars?

It seems that Mars has been calling to us all this time. Maybe if we are lucky we will find the answers someday.

In this picture there are many things to see. This area is from the mid upper section.

Notice the mid section of this picture. From the left to the right it looks like a large complex of sorts.

I could spend hours and get probably 50 shots from this one area that would be worth seeing in detail.

Take a few moments and just look around.

Here is a closer view of the tall forms. They seem to be very odd because they stand alone.

Some of them seem so perfectly round.

Here you can see the formations more clearly.

Notice the precise placement of the smaller forms behind the taller ones.

Now we are viewing just to the right and up a bit of the tall forms.

Look at the V shaped structure to the left. Then to the right there appears to be some kind of structure.

I know it is hard to see, but it does appear unusual.

We always have to take into consideration the pixels, often they can give square lines.

Here is a closer view of that V formation. It reminds me of an entrance way.

Look at all the strange shapes in this picture.

And then further right of the mid area we come to this section.

I found this fascinating and mysterious.

Very hypnotic.

This is from the bottom left. This area is also very strange.

Look at the large bowl like structure to the right. It looks like it has many sections on the top.
